New Shoes - George

I popped into George today and saw these shoes, I was umming and aaaing about it will they look good won't they? Spend about 15 mins trying them on and sucked it up and bought them. There was a nude, tan colour and a navy colour, I went for navy. They are wegdges with a suede like material, they are so super comfy. They also have grip on them which is fab!

Fashionista

Hey blogletts,
I hope you had a lovely Christmas and have a happy new year.
Superdrug has a new 'brand' out called fashionista. On of their biggest selling point is the palettes they do. The palettes have 4 slots which you can fill any eyeshadow or blush of your choice. The eyeshadows and blushers come in cases themselves which are fine for keeping them in and look rather nice. However if you do get a palettes there are holes in the botton so when you turn it over you can see the information about the products. I bought 3 eyeshadows, two of them are 'double take' meaning they are baked so have other colours running through them bella and radiant, 1 regular eyeshadow in sultry and a blush in butterscotch. I highly reccomend these products, the compactness makes it easy for travelling aswell.

Top left: Bella - a pretty, shimmery hilight colour
Top right: Radiant - a gold colour with brown veining through it
Bottom left: Sultry - a plummy purple
Bottom right: Butterscotch - a pale pink blush

It also has a GIANT mirror

Left to Right ....
Bella, Radiant, Sultry and Butterscotch.

As you can see they are pretty pigmented and the price is also a big factor. Each single product are £4 each and the palette is £5 - so affordable. Also I don't know if it is just in the sales but there is an offer on at the moment where you if you buy it all then you get it for a reduced price.
There are many different colours and I am very pleased with this range.

Blogmass day 21 - Simple spotless skin anti-blemish moisturiser

Hey Blogletts,
I have been trying this product out for a few weeks now and I really have to say it's pretty good. I didn't buy it for it's claim to reduce spots as I don't feel it has really impacted that area at all however it also claims to 'maintain moisture levels' and 'give long lasting shine control'. I have super oily skin and needed a moisturiser that would control this and I must say it ticks the boxes. When you apply it, it feels greasy and you think 'WHAT!' however when you rub it in it sinks in and makes your skin feel matte and like it has no oil. GREAT! It does reduce oil for a pretty good amount of time although after many hours it wears off and powdering is required. I guess if you had the time blotting throughout the day may help the lasting power however being at school I don't really have the time.
Another good thing is that being from Simple it doesn't have harsh chemicals and smells so it is better for your skin then some other moisturisers.
This is a pretty good product but not sooo amazing.

Blogmass day 20 - techincal issue - Loreal superliner carbon gloss

Hey Blogletts,
Due to technical issues (me losing the camera lead) I can't upload pictures to go with these upcoming posts. As soon as I have found said lead I will upload the pictures. Anyway back to the main point, I bought a new liquid liner and hear a lot of hype about the Loreal Superliner. I bought the shade carbon gloss, the most common shade. It has a fine prescision nib and is flexible so is easy to apply. I don't know why I haven't bought it before! I really love it. It is the blackest of black and lasts all day. I really reccomend this product if you have issues with applying liquid liner, this is for you!

Blogmass is back! Day 19 - Revlon 020 baby pink

Hey Blogletts,
I am back along with blogmass. I have the flu at the moment so have not been up to doing anything, although it is the Christmas holidays so I have a lot more time to post. Being ill the slots of time I feel like blogging are very inconvenient so the lighting of the pictures may be a bit poopy, sorry. Anyway back to the main aim, I purchased a new lipstick from Revlon. Revlon lipsticks are quite raved about so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and buy one. I got the shade 020 baby pink from the colour burst range. I love it! It is so creamy and pigmented, on par with some MAC lipsticks in my eyes, plus so much cheaper. It is a pretty pale pink colour that is great for my light skin tone.

I really reccomend these lipsticks and feel I may be getting more.
I'm glad to be back in the swing of blogmass.

Blogmass day 3 . Tkmaxx miracle

Hey Blogletts,
I went christmas shopping day. I'm not going to lie, it was crazy! Town was filled with old people doing their christmas shopping very early in the morning, screaming babies and it was generally nasty. I had walked all the way up town and back again carrying heavy bags dodging as many people I could (as you can tell I don't like people). Now I reached the bottom when I had to make the tough descision, to Tkmaxx or not to Tkmaxx? Tkmaxx is one of those shops you have to persevere with. Normally there are a lot of people with items scattered anywhere and everywhere, it is hot and stuffy and there is no room to move. Already not being a people person and being claustrophobic it not not the ideal shop. However I thought no I am going in stop being so silly.
So I went in and went straight to the beauty items where not many people are. Then I saw it. The miracle. A Chi family gift set. Those of you who are not familiar with the brand Chi, it is a very good hair brand that sells items from hair care to styling tools. They are also very expensive. So when I saw this I thought do I dare to look at the price?? Well when I did I nearly collapsed. £19.99!!!!!! This may mean nothing to you but the RRP is £51.75. How could I not buy this? This amazing bargain. The set includes a shampoo, a hair treatment, the famous silk infusion, an iron guard and a texture spray. This would make the perfect Christmas present for someone who likes to style hair. Although I refuse to give this away as a present, unless it is to myself.

Then when I had recovered from the Chi incident, I was browsing through more of the beauty products and amongst the open and tried makeup I saw some OPI nail polishes. Wowza was my reaction, OPI in Tkmaxx amazing. I have wanted to buy some for ages but never got round to it. They came in a set of 3 and there was a choice of 2 sets. I bought the one with the colours Take the stage, Fiercely Fiona and from a recent collection Servin' up sparkle. Not only to find these amazing products but one of them to be in a recent collection is amazing. Not only this but the RRP of these 3 products is £31.50, however I got them for £12.99!

Servin' Up Sparkle

Fiercly Fiona

Take the stage - a bronze shimmery colour
These again would make a lovely Christmas present, and once again are for me.
Well I am fully impressed with Tkmaxx and will be shopping there a lot more I think.

Blogmas day 2 - Maybelline Eyestudio mono shadow - 720 iced fudged

Hey blogletts,
I recently purchased this amazing single eyeshadow. When buying drugstore products I tend to go for items that look different than the usual products or something you would find in the higher end products.
This eyeshadow is a warm taupe colour, it is pigmented but can blend easily. It is such an unusual colour to find in drugstore products that I had to buy it. In boots it is £4.09 however this may vary from shop to shop. Anyway here is the rave review eyeshadow ....

I love it! They also have a range of other colours I may have to try.
